Job summary

Hillsborough Community College seeks a Program Administrator to organize, schedule, coordinate, and monitor a PSAV program in line with state and federal standards. The role includes preparing reports and maintaining records to support compliant operations.

The position also involves hiring support for instructors, evaluating courses and curriculum, liaising with external agencies for certification, and ensuring facilities and equipment meet requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of related experience; HS diploma/GED acceptable if substituting.
• Technical certification/licensure may be required for some programs.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in technical inspection and welding-related fields; AWS CWI is preferred and may need to be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Organizes, schedules, coordinates and monitors the PSAV program to ensure compliant operations.
• Organizes facilities, equipment, materials, and activities and ensures adequate supplies and maintenance.
• Monitors, verifies and records standardized examinations per standards.
• Prepares and submits program reports to ensure adherence to standards.
• Interviews and screens instructors; may provide instructional support.
