Job summary

Rite-Hite Corporation is the global leader in the manufacture, sale, service and installation of loading dock equipment and high-speed doors. The position of Production Team Leader focuses on directing daily production activities to meet the master schedule, maintaining quality, safety and efficiency, and guiding a team toward continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, welding certification, and at least five years of related experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least five years of related experience.
• Welding certification is required.
• Knowledge of manufacturing procedures, production/inventory control, and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates production scheduling and daily activities to conform with master schedule and inventory requirements.
• Performs production operations on a regular basis (approximately 40%).
• Acts as primary contact for employees on daily production issues and liaises with area supervisor.
• Helps ensure products meet quality standards by monitoring print specifications.
• Drives continuous quality and efficiency improvements and reports trends.
• Enforces safe production practices and good housekeeping.
• Supports quality system and CI efforts and assists with training needs.
