Job summary

Rite-Hite, the global leader in loading dock and door equipment, is seeking a Production Scheduling Coordinator to coordinate production activities and resources to meet the master schedule and inventory needs.

You will monitor quality against specifications, support continuous improvement, and liaise with supervisors to resolve production issues while ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. This role is based in Horn Lake, MS and requires a forklift license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 3 months related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and utilize tape measures.
• Ability to read and understand prints in relation to part size and specifications.
• Ability to use the computer system needed to identify component location.
• Forklift license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform production operations on a regular basis as needed (approximately 40%).
• Serve as primary contact for employees regarding daily production issues.
• Liaise between production area and area supervisor.
• Monitor compliance with print specifications to ensure product quality.
• Contribute to continuous quality and efficiency improvements over time.
• Track and report quality and efficiency trends.
• Maintain safe production practices and good housekeeping.
• Support the quality system and continuous improvement efforts.
• Identify problems, collect data, improve processes, and coordinate activities to meet production goals.
• Assist Production Supervisor with training needs and on-the-job training.
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, performance appraisals, corrective action, and conflict resolution.
