Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Working knowledge in welding and MIG/TIG certifications.
• Ability to read welding symbols and prints.
• Familiarity with US customary and metric measurement units.
• Computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations to meet production schedule.
• Ensure operators follow dispatch list and coordinate with scheduling.
• Ensure documentation such as QARs, job travelers, MRB tags are completed.
• Interpret and enforce department and customer standards and procedures.
• Notify scheduling and maintenance when a machine goes down.
• Oversee process inspection, certification and documentation.
• Enforce safety, quality and production quotas; manage attendance.
• Report injuries or near misses to the safety officer.
• Other duties as assigned.
