Qualifications

• 5+ years direct experience with orbital welding for the semiconductor industry.
• 1+ years of directly related Engineering experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment.
• Proven strong team building and personnel development experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage all production welding related issues.
• Set priorities and capacity planning for welding activities.
• Oversee weld shop performance in quality and cost.
• Drive continuous culture improvement throughout welding processes.
• Develop training and certification programs for welding team.

Skills

AWS and SEMI requirements understanding

Reading engineering drawings and weld symbols

Weld program development

Management and leadership skills

Technical leadership in semiconductor equipment

Process Control and engineering tools experience

Factory utilization and production efficiency skills

Excellent communication skills

MRP/ERP applications knowledge

Ability to work long hours

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering

APICS/CPIM certification
