Job summary

Big Top Weld Shop Supervisor in Flower Mound, TX, oversees safety, quality, delivery, and productivity in the welding department. You will set priorities, align labor and resources, and drive performance using data to support growth and reliability.

Reports to the Plant General Manager and partners with HR. The role requires strong leadership, the ability to coach Welder I–III, and a deep understanding of fabrication drawings, welding procedures, and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years welding/fabrication experience in manufacturing.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and welding symbols.

Responsibilities

• Own safety, quality, delivery, and productivity for the welding department.
• Lead Welder I–III employees, set expectations, and coach performance.
• Plan daily execution aligning labor, equipment, and materials.
• Ensure PPE, safety practices, and inspections compliance.
• Drive department KPIs and continuous improvement.
• Maintain ERP discipline and data integrity for labor reporting.
