Job summary

New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co., Inc. seeks a Welder/Maintenance Technician to cut and weld steel and aluminum with stick and wire-feed welders, and to use oxy-acetylene torches from blueprints and sketches. You will communicate with plant operations to identify needs and travel between NESL locations to provide services.

Maintain safety, quality, and accuracy while supporting the maintenance team. A strong team mindset and willingness to learn are valued.

Qualifications

• Previous welding experience with AWS Welding Certification.
• Class C Driver’s License with DOT Medical Card (or willingness to obtain).
• Positive attitude, growth mindset, and willingness to travel to job sites within a defined geographic territory.
• High School graduate or GED.

Responsibilities

• Cut and weld steel and aluminum using stick and wire-feed welders.
• Use oxy-acetylene torches.
• Work from blueprints and sketches.
• Coordinate with plant operations to identify needs.
• Travel between NESL locations to provide services.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
