Job summary

TOYOTETSU TEXAS INC is seeking a Welding Machine Maintenance Team Member to ensure the reliable operation of welding machinery in our manufacturing facility. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and perform repairs to minimize downtime and keep production running smoothly.

Collaborating with the maintenance team, you will implement preventative maintenance schedules, document activities, and support installation and testing of new equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; welding or machinery maintenance certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience in welding machine maintenance or related field in manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals; document maintenance activities clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on welding machines to ensure optimal operation.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot welding equipment issues to implement effective solutions.
• Conduct repairs and replace defective parts to restore machine functionality promptly.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop preventative maintenance schedules.
• Ensure safety regulations and company policies are followed during maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
• Assist in installation and testing of new welding machinery and equipment.
• Provide technical support and training to operators and team members on proper usage and maintenance procedures.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve machine performance and reduce downtime through maintenance best practices.
