Job summary

Exmark, located in Beatrice, Nebraska, is a division of The Toro Company, and seeks a dedicated welder for the 1st shift (6:00am–2:00pm). You will perform welding duties on outdoor power equipment and contribute to a productive, safe shop environment.

You’ll read blueprints, use jigs and fixtures, conduct first-piece inspections, and help train teammates while seeking safer, more efficient processes.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform welding duties on outdoor power equipment.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and use fixtures and jigs.
• Some technical knowledge and ability to follow standard work.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisor with training of new employees and proper use of weld equipment.
• Perform first-piece inspection at shift start and mid-shift.
• Assist welders with questions and monitor work quality (splatter, porosity).
• Support continuous improvement of methods, material flow, and safety.
• Help out in other areas as needed to keep the value stream moving.
• Substitute for absent employees in a work cell or booth.
