Job summary

Gwinnett Technical College is seeking a Lab Service Worker for the Welding and Joining Technology program. You will support the welding lab, organize the tool room, and assist students under supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and knowledge of GTAW/GMAW processes, with strong safety and mechanical skills. It is a part-time, hourly-paid position reporting to the Program Director.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with GTAW (Aluminum) and GMAW welding processes is preferred.
• Demonstrates initiative, professionalism, and good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing and executing routine tool room activities and lab setup.
• Maintain welding lab safety and cleanliness; support students and instructors.
• Support the Program Director with day-to-day lab operations.
