Job summary

Southern Regional Technical College is seeking a Federal Work Study student to support the Welding and Joining Technology lab. Under faculty supervision, you will help organize tools, maintain lab resources, and assist with routine tasks.

This hourly position is available to SRTC students only, pays $15 per hour, and requires enrolled status, good academic progress, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Enrolled as a student at the location seeking employment.
• Satisfactory academic progress for Federal Student Aid programs.
• Currently enrolled in Welding and Joining Technology Program at SRTC.

Responsibilities

• Organize, prepare, and maintain lab tools, equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Assist with routine lab setup, cleanup, inventory, and related activities.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct with students and staff.
• Support lab operations and duties as assigned by faculty.
