Southern Careers Institute in Texas is seeking instructors to teach in career‑focused programs. No teaching experience required; we provide training. Full and part-time positions available to help SCI students succeed in a collaborative setting.

Ideal candidates have industry experience; post-secondary teaching experience is preferred, and AWS/NCCER certifications are a plus. You will work with faculty to deliver curriculum and foster student growth in a dynamic campus environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of industry experience preferred.
• Prior post-secondary related teaching experience of at least 1 year highly preferred.
• Certified AWS and/or NCCER.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates thorough knowledge of the teaching field and discipline.
• Plans and organizes instruction to maximize student learning.
• Modifies instructional methods to meet diverse student needs.
• Prepare lesson plans and teach courses as prescribed.
• Encourages development of communication and higher-order thinking skills.
