Job summary

Lincoln Tech is seeking experienced Welders to join as Full-time and Part-time Instructors at our Lincoln, RI campus. You will teach welding technologies, provide hands-on training, and mentor the next generation of welders.

No teaching experience is required; comprehensive training is provided. Expect a 4-day work week with competitive pay and benefits, plus opportunities to advance to full-time teaching.

Qualifications

• 5+ years field experience in pipe and structural welding.
• Proficient in GMAW MIG, GTAW TIG, SMAW Stick, FCAW flux-cored.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Teach Welding Technologies Classes: deliver lessons using Lincoln Tech's accredited program.
• Provide hands-on training in a fully equipped facility.
• Emphasize safety and industry standards in welding.
• Support student growth with professionalism and accountability.

We have added the Welding program at our Lincoln, RI campus and are seeking experienced Welders to join our team as Full-time and Part-time (PT evening) Instructors. While prior teaching experience is not required, as we offer comprehensive training to ensure your success in this role. Your expertise and passion for welding will be the key to educating and mentoring the next generation of Welders. Key Responsibilities of Welding Instructor:

• Teach Welding Technologies Classes: Deliver lessons using Lincoln Tech's accredited training program, ensuring comprehensive understanding of welding principles.
• Provide Hands-on Training: Offer practical welding experience in our fully equipped facility, focusing on skill development for students.
• Emphasize Safety and Compliance: Teach students the critical importance of safety procedures and industry standards in the welding field.
• Support Student Growth: Foster an environment that encourages professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Motivate and Engage Students: Create a positive and interactive classroom atmosphere to enhance student learning and enthusiasm.
• Evaluate and Communicate Progress: Regularly assess student performance and provide clear feedback on their progress.
• Prepare Students for Successful Careers: Equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to pursue a successful and in-demand career in Welding Technology.

Key Requirements of Welding Instructor:

• 5+ years of field experience in Pipe Welding / Structural Welding:
  • GMAW - MIG

  • Plasma Cutting
• High school diploma/GED
