Job summary

Luna is seeking a Welding Instructor at the LCC Main Campus to educate students for certificates, degrees, and AWS certifications. The role involves syllabus design, textbook selection, and delivering courses across online and in-person formats.

Requires at least three years of welding experience, AWS SMAW and OSHA 10 certifications, and the ability to travel to satellite locations. Teaching experience is preferred; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in adult learning theory and curriculum development for welding courses.
• Must hold AWS SMAW certification and OSHA 10 within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum three years welding experience; teaching experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license without restrictions for duration of employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare syllabi each semester and select textbooks.
• Deliver instruction via LMS across all modalities.
• Travel to satellite campuses as needed for instruction.
• Assess learning outcomes and improve teaching strategies.
• Assist in program development and staff scheduling.
