Job summary

Universal Technical Institute is seeking a Welding Instructor to lead hands-on training and inspire the next generation of welders. You will mentor students, demonstrate welding techniques, and help develop courses with the education team in a safe, state-of-the-art lab.

The role requires 5+ years of welding experience and a strong commitment to student success. Training provided; comprehensive benefits, competitive hourly pay, and weekends off support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 5 years of practical welding experience.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, stick and flux-cored welding, oxy-acetylene torch work, plasma cutting and brazing.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and educate students in a hands-on learning environment.
• Lead practical demonstrations to give real-world welding experience.
• Collaborate with the education team to develop and update courses.
• Mentor students on individual projects and encourage critical thinking.
