East Central College seeks a part-time adjunct Welding Instructor to teach welding theory and applied shop work at the Union, MO campus. Responsibilities include delivering real-world welding experiences and effective learning strategies to prepare students for the welding workforce.
Applicants should have a degree (Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred) and relevant teaching experience in a Career Technical field or equivalent. Adjuncts are paid per credit hour.
East Central College hasopenings for a part-time (adjunct) Welding Instructors. The instructor is responsible for providing effective learning strategies and real-world welding experiences such as structural welding, fabrication, fitting, blueprint reading, along with multi-process welding to provide high quality welding knowledge for future students entering into the welding workforce.

Adjuncts are hired on a per semester basis and are eligible to teach a maximum of 18 credit hours per calendar year and only9 credit hours per semester.
Adjuncts are paid per credit hour (pch) based on level of degree obtained.
