Qualifications

  • Proficient in blueprint reading and weld symbol recognition.
  • Experience with measurement tools and inspection equipment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and audit manufacturing operations to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and all internal and customer requirements.
  • Inspect components and assemblies against customer-supplied or in-house engineering drawings/specifications.
  • Utilize standard Quality Assurance tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to inspect work in process.
  • Interpret engineering prints and recognize weld symbols to verify correct assembly and fabrication.
  • Initiate and monitor nonconformance reports (IRRs), ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to solve quality-related issues and adapt to changes in manufacturing methods.
  • Conduct and document in-process and first article inspections; maintain accurate inspection records and computer logs.
  • Perform scheduled internal quality systems and process audits to ensure continued compliance.
  • Collect, analyze, and record inspection and process data to support continuous improvement.
  • Quickly respond to and resolve quality-related concerns, supporting both operations and engineering teams.
  • Maintain all required paperwork, reports, and electronic records in accordance with company and ISO standards.
  • Support special quality projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Follow all machine, facility, and personal safety practices and adhere to all company workplace rules and regulations.

These are direct hire roles, meaning you’ll be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefits, vacation, and compensation upon hire.

Job Description:
