Job summary

Strong Hold in Louisville, KY is seeking a First Shift Lead to team up with leadership to execute department plans and drive production goals. The role demands reliability, a safety-first approach, and ability to manage a team across departments.

You will read blueprints, inspect products, and troubleshoot equipment on a 10-hour shift, Monday through Thursday. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, blueprint literacy, and experience with forklifts and pallet jacks.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lead and execute department plans with a supervisory mindset.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job specifications.
• Comfortable using hand tools and operating machinery.
• Proven safety focus to manage a team and equipment usage.

Responsibilities

• Execute the Production Plan set by Manager.
• Read and interpret standard production drawings and job specs.
• Inspect products to verify conformance to specs.
• Troubleshoot repairs for equipment or materials.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Ensure safety of all employees and machine usage.
• Focus on building product quality.
