Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Welder/Fabricator (W-1) to perform welding-brazing and setup on heat exchanger products, following ASME Section IX and Mil Spec requirements. The role requires blueprint reading, tool setup, and quality-focused workmanship in a typical manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational welding program.
• Experience: 1–2 years of fabrication setup and welding; able to read blueprints; must pass a welding test.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding-brazing and setup on Heat Exchanger products per ASME Code and Mil Spec.
• Select and set up welding equipment; align parts to dimensional requirements; adjust current and gas for proper welds.
• Clean parts and welds; maintain tools and materials; follow safety and quality standards.
