Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Welding Supervisor to oversee our welding department and ensure high-quality production standards. Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of welders/fitters, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Review and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements.
• Oversee the assembly of metal components, ensuring proper fabrication techniques are utilized.
• Conduct regular inspections of welding work to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Utilize tools such as calipers and micrometers for precise measurements during fabrication processes.
• Train new employees on welding techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Manage equipment maintenance schedules and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
• Ensure that all welding operations are performed in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Welding Supervisor.
• Certified Welder or Certified Welding Inspector
• Strong blueprint reading skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
• Familiarity with using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Experience operating cranes and other heavy machinery is preferred.
• Excellent leadership abilities with strong communication skills to effectively manage a team.
