Unified Defense in Byron, GA is seeking skilled Welders II-IV for 2nd shift to join our fabrication team. You will read blueprints, select welding processes, and fabricate tank areas from start to finish, ensuring quality and adherence to standards.

The role requires 2–4 years of advanced welding experience, ability to work in varied temperatures, and strong tolerance for long shifts. We offer a shift differential and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Read, interpret, and apply welding symbols and blueprints.
• Apply knowledge of metal properties to welding decisions.
• Perform arc gouging and plasma cutting as required.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate tank areas start to finish per WPS and quality standards.
• Identify and resolve fabrication and welding issues with minimal supervision.
• Maintain safety practices and PPE and support shop efficiency.
