Job summary

T BAILEY LLC in Anacortes, WA is hiring a Helper-Trainee-Laborer for night or day shifts in our welding shop. This entry-level role supports welders and fabricators with setup, cleanup, and prep, with in-house training to grow into a welding career.

You’ll work Monday-Thursday with various shifts, earning $22-$26 per hour plus a 7.5% shift differential for night shift, plus benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a fabrication or industrial setting is preferred.
• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
• Ability to work a consistent night shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Set up tools and materials before welding begins.
• Clean up work areas after welding is completed.
• Sweep shop floors and maintain a safe, organized workspace.
• Grind weld splatter and use a wire wheel to clean up welds.
• Support welders and fabricators with general labor tasks.
• Beveling steel plates to prepare for welding.

Hours: Monday – Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM or Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
