Job summary

Haskell is seeking a skilled welder/fabricator to layout, assemble, weld, cast, and forge components for structural forms, builds, and bridge parts. You will use multiple welding processes, lay out layouts, clamp, tack-weld, and prepare parts for final assembly.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience and appropriate welding certifications for the welds to be performed.
• AWS (American Welding Society) certification.
• MIG welding experience.

Responsibilities

• Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding.
• Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together.
• Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.
• Sets up equipment and welds parts using arc, gas-shielded arc, submerged arc, or gas welding equipment.
• May assemble parts by bolting and riveting.
• May repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts, using a cutting torch, straightening press, and hand tools.
