Job summary

Haskell is seeking a skilled welder/fabricator responsible for laying out, fits, welds, casting, and forging components to assemble structural forms, building, and bridge parts. You will select equipment, plan layouts, and weld using various welding processes on an on-site basis.

Requirements include four years of experience with welding certifications, AWS certification, MIG welding, SMAW, and oxy-fuel cutting, plus strong organizational and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience and appropriate welding certifications for the type of welds to be performed.
• AWS (American Welding Society) certification.
• Familiarity with MIG welding, shielded metal arc welding, and oxy-fuel cutting.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, fits, welds fabricating, casting, and forging components for structural forms, building, and bridge parts.
• Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding.
• Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components.
• Bolts, clamps, tack-welds, and sets up equipment for welding.
• May assemble parts, repair products, and use cutting tools as needed.
