Job summary

Henny Penny Corporation is hiring an Entry Utility Operator at our Eaton, OH headquarters. The role focuses on running basic setup for spot welding, stud welding, and clinch studding while fabricating parts to standard.

You will follow JDE Kanban, manage drawings and process sheets, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years welding experience, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand all day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of spot and stud welding and clinch studding experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs and stand 8+ hours.
• Basic math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and setup spot welding, stud welding and clinch studding equipment.
• Follow JDE Kanban processes and manage Kanban cards, status and history.
• Utilize drawings, non-CAD process sheets and operating instructions.
• Maintain fixtures and department knowledge; repair defects independently.
• Troubleshoot machine misalignments and identify material types, disposing scrap properly.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety; complete work to quality standards and on time.
• Model company values and perform other duties as assigned.
