Job summary

Connectly Recruiting seeks a Welding Engineer to develop, optimize, and support welding processes in a vehicle manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to ensure weld quality and support new product launches.

The role requires hands-on experience with MIG, TIG, and resistance welding, plus proficiency in GD&T, AutoCAD/SolidWorks, and MS Office. AWS certification is preferred, with 3+ years in welding engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Welding, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years in welding engineering or weld process development.
• AWS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize MIG, TIG, and resistance welding processes.
• Define and maintain welding parameters, procedures, and standards.
• Investigate welding defects with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with AWS, ISO, and IATF 16949 standards.
• Conduct weld audits, support PPAP submissions, and develop PFMEAs and control plans.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to reduce waste and costs.
