Job summary

TWB Monroe is seeking a Welding Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. The program runs May 17 to August 13, 2027, with projects aligned to departmental needs and intern interests.

Interns gain hands-on experience in welding engineering, data collection, and collaboration with mentors guiding professional growth. Eligible students will work on challenging projects in a manufacturing setting, gaining exposure to cutting-edge welding technology and opportunities for continued internship or full-time

Qualifications

• Welding Engineering major required or in-progress with interest in manufacturing.
• Sophomore standing by Summer 2027 and willingness to learn on the plant floor.
• Interest in laser welding and manufacturing processes a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Welding Engineering team on projects and experiments.
• Support on the plant floor and in the office with safety training and data collection.
