Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in welding engineering or a related manufacturing role.
  • Strong knowledge of welding processes such as MIG, TIG, Stick, and Submerged Arc Welding (SAW).
  • Familiarity with industry codes and standards (e.g., AWS, ASME, MIL).
  • Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
  • Experience with metallurgical analysis and failure investigation techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Review drawings and develop welding processes for projects.
  • Specify welding techniques, equipment, and materials for quality and efficiency.
  • Develop Welding Procedure Records (WPQRs) and maintain records.
  • Evaluate and resolve welding-related production issues.
  • Train and qualify welders as needed.
