Module X Solutions is seeking a Weld Engineer in Shreveport, Louisiana, responsible for developing and improving welding processes. This position will also ensure compliance with applicable codes and support manufacturing efficiency and safety. The Weld Engineer will collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to develop robust solutions for modular structures.

Job Summary:
The Weld Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving welding processes, procedures, and standards across Module X Solutions’ manufacturing operations. This position serves as the technical authority for welding-related activities and ensures compliance with applicable codes, customer specifications, and industry standards while supporting production efficiency, quality, and safety objectives.
The Weld Engineer collaborates closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Production teams to develop robust welding solutions for modular structures, skids, enclosures, and fabricated assemblies. This role supports new product introduction, process optimization, welder qualification, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive manufacturing excellence.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee sometimes works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, and heights. When participating in activities on the shop floor, the noise level in the work environment is typical for a fabrication shop and ear plugs may be used as necessary.
