MODULE X SOLUTIONS is seeking a skilled welder/fitter to join our Shreveport, LA fabrication team. You will interpret engineering drawings, set up welds, adhere to blueprints, and use hand and power tools to assemble and finish metal components.
Role involves welding in multiple positions, preparing surfaces, and deburring. Initial training on day shift with later transition to 2nd shift; a $2.00/hour differential applies.

Hours: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM. Initial training will be conducted on day shift for approximately 1–2 weeks from 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Upon transition to second shift, a $2.00/hour shift differential will be added to the base hourly rate.
Uses hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components, fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products
QUALIFICATIONS:
Work Experience: 2+ years welding/fitting experience
Education: Highschool diploma/ GED or equivalent
While performing the duties of this job, the employee sometimes works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, and heights. When participating in activities on the shop floor, the noise level in the work environment is typical for a fabrication shop and ear plugs may be used as necessary.
