Arclabs Welding School is seeking a High School Student Recruiter to engage students and guide them through welding program opportunities. The role emphasizes school-year outreach with extensive travel to high schools and events.

You will also support general recruitment during off-seasons, including evenings and weekends. The ideal candidate is outgoing, organized, and prepared for travel, with proven recruitment or sales experience in education or vocational settings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in student recruitment, sales, or related roles, preferably in education or vocational training.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with high school students, educators, and parents.
• Strong public speaking skills with confidence presenting to groups.
• Time management and organizational skills to manage multiple school relationships and outreach efforts.
• Ability to travel extensively (85%) and work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
• Knowledge of the welding industry or technical training programs is a plus.
• Some weeks will require more than 40 hours, including travel and event attendance.

Responsibilities

• High School Outreach (School Year Focus): Establish and maintain relationships with high school counselors, teachers, administrators, and student organizations to build a recruitment network.
• Attend school visits, career fairs, and student events, presenting Arclabs' welding programs and career pathways.
• Deliver engaging presentations and demonstrations for students, parents, and staff, highlighting the welding industry and Arclabs' offerings.
• Guide students through the application and enrollment process.
• Track student engagement and follow up to provide ongoing support during decision-making.
• General Recruitment (Off-Season Focus): Support campus recruitment efforts, attending open houses and community events, and conducting interviews.
