Job summary

The Advanced Welding Manufacturing Engineer will own global welding process development, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement of weld projects in a metal fabrication environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, mechanical or welding engineering.
• 8–10 years of experience in welding or metal fabrication manufacturing.
• CWI, CWEng, or Six Sigma certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize welding and fabrication processes.
• Support and develop Laser, TIG, and MIG welding technologies.
• Lead manufacturing improvement and cost reduction projects.
• Support new product launches and process validation.
• Troubleshoot production and quality issues using root cause analysis.
• Create work instructions, process documentation, and training materials.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, and Engineering teams to improve performance.

Mechanical/Welding Engineering

Six Sigma (certification a plus)
