Job summary

North American Stamping Group in Portland, TN is seeking skilled operators to run robotic welding and assembly equipment, set up and change over tooling, and perform quality audits on parts leaving the line.

We value detail-oriented individuals who can follow written work instructions, maintain safe working conditions, complete reports accurately, and contribute to continuous improvement. This is a full-time position with overtime as required.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or GED.
• Detail oriented with ability to follow written work instructions.
• Willing to work overtime and meet production goals.
• Demonstrates continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate robotic welder and assembly equipment.
• Set up and change over tooling.
• Perform break tests and log results.
• Maintain safety curtains/guards during operation.
• Complete final visual audits of parts leaving welder area.
• Fill in all reports properly and completely.
• Maintain good housekeeping around equipment.
• Report quality, production or safety problems to the production manager.
• Maintain all tools in proper places.
• Operate for trucks as required.
• Re-work parts as per instructions.
• Preventative maintenance as instructed.
