Job summary

Brunswick Boat Group is seeking a skilled laborer to prepare boats for the paint process, involving sanding and welding after completing 20 hours of internal weld classes. The role rotates between sanding and welding stations, with emphasis on safety and documentation.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and experience with orbital sanders or grinders, plus ability to read drawings. Training is provided, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with orbital sanders or grinders preferred.
• Ability to read drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Prepare boat for paint with attention to detail.
• Sand sides and bottom of boat.
• Grind and sand bows and transoms.
• Perform MIG and/or TIG welding after weld classes.
• Complete required documentation for welded boats.
