Job summary

West Georgia Technical College is seeking a Welding Adjunct Instructor to teach Welding and Joining Technology across multiple campuses. The role pays $27.00 per contact hour and may include morning or evening shifts, Monday through Thursday.

Courses are delivered face-to-face, in lab, or blended as required by the college schedule. Selected candidates will prepare syllabi, assess student progress, and maintain program accreditation with ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Welding and Joining Technology or related diploma/degree from an accredited institution.
• Three (3) years of experience in welding and joining.
• Must be able to pass a welding test; some locations require an additional pipe welding test.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Present instruction in welding and joining technology in theory and lab settings.
• Prepare standardized course syllabi and assess student progress.
• Utilize current technology in classroom and lab; meet with students and staff as needed.
• Prepare lesson plans and ensure program outcomes are met.
