Qualifications

  • Diploma or higher in teaching discipline with verifiable credentials, qualifications, or competencies appropriate for teaching the course content.
  • In-field certifications are preferred.
  • Three (3) years of experience in-field is required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide instruction to students in welding technology courses, including college and high school students, during day classes.
  • Demonstrate appropriate teaching techniques and effective testing and grading procedures, including maintenance of gradebooks and records.
  • Communicate effectively in oral and written form; apply current in-field procedures and follow the approved course syllabus.
  • Complete all reports, records, and invoices promptly and maintain inventory of assigned properties.

Education

Diploma or higher in teaching discipline with verifiable credentials
In-field certifications
