Ivy Tech Community College in Logansport, IN, is seeking adjunct faculty to teach and support students part-time for the semester. Compensation is provided at $44.64 per contact hour, with official transcripts required upon hire and opportunities for benefits for part-time staff.
General Purpose and Scope of the Position: Adjunct Faculty positions are temporary, part-time appointments hired on a semester-by-semester, as-needed basis. Adjunct faculty are responsible for creating a supportive learning environment that helps students achieve their educational goals and for delivering effective instruction and assessment using common syllabi provided by the school.
Pay: $44.64 per contact hour
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Must have strong working knowledge of current technologies appropriate to the area of instruction and meet faculty credentials as outlined in the ASOM 7.1 for the specific area(s) of instruction. Conducts all activities with an appreciation, respect, and promotion of diversity of people, styles, and views.
Required Certification:
Must possess a current Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW) certification to teach Welding for the Logansport Juvenile Training Program.
