Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking Welders of all skill levels in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. The position offers flexible hours with options for overtime and competitive pay starting at $18+ per hour based on experience.

Successful candidates will have some welding experience, the ability to read a tape measure, and must pass a pre-employment physical examination. Responsibilities include welding I-beam frames and inspecting products for defects.

Qualifications

• Some Welding Experience. (High School or Trade School training will work!)
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to pass a Pre-employment Physical.

Responsibilities

• Welding I-Beam Frame and Fuel Tanks in flat/vertical overhead positions.
• Clamp, hold, tack-weld, grind or bolt component parts.
• Position and secure workpieces, using hoists and tools.
• Inspect products/equipment for defects.

Located on 51st & Lincoln Ave

1st & 2nd Shift. Flexible hours. Overtime is available (work up to 60 hours / week) but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Welding I-Beam Frame and Fuel Tanks in flat/vertical overhead positions. The sheet metal thickness will range from 10 gauge up to inch.
• Clamp, hold, tack-weld, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding
• Position and secure workpieces, using hoists, cranes, wire and banding machines or hand tools
• Inspect products/equipment for defects/malfunctions
