Job summary

Global Power Components in Milwaukee is hiring welders of all skill levels for 1st and 2nd shift. Location: 51st & Lincoln Ave. Overtime up to 60 hours/week is available but not mandatory.

$18+ per hour depending on experience. Apply Now and I will reach out to you to schedule an interview. Responsibilities include welding I-Beam frames and fuel tanks in flat/vertical overhead positions, clamping, holding and tack-welding components, and positioning workpieces with hoists or hand tools.

Qualifications

  • Some welding experience (high school or trade school training will work)
  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical

Responsibilities

  • Weld I-Beam frames and fuel tanks in flat/vertical overhead positions.
  • Clamp, hold, tack-weld, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding.
  • Position and secure workpieces using hoists, cranes, wire and banding machines or hand tools.
  • Inspect products/equipment for defects/malfunctions.

  • Inspect products/equipment for defects/malfunctions.
