Responsibilities

• Perform welding duties using FCAW and GMAW.
• Weld steel components according to blueprints, diagrams, work orders, layouts, and instructions.
• Perform welds from tack welds to complex welds in various positions.
• Set up and lay out work using templates and fixtures to modify, fabricate, or repair equipment.
• Operate air, power, and hand tools including welding guns, grinders, and torches.
• Safely operate forklifts, cranes, overhead hoists, and rigging equipment when required.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and adjustments to welding equipment.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools via preventive maintenance.
• Complete daily equipment inspection and check sheets.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs.
• Follow manufacturer instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform welding duties using FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding) and GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding).
• Weld steel components according to blueprints, diagrams, work orders, layouts, and written or verbal instructions.
• Perform welds ranging from simple tack welds to complex welds in various positions and workspaces.
• Set up and lay out work using templates and fixtures to modify, fabricate, or repair equipment, parts, and products.
• Operate a variety of air, power, and hand tools, including:
  • Welding guns
  • Grinders
  • Air Arc equipment
  • Wrenches
  • Hammers
  • Cutting torches
  • Drills
  • Punches
  • Scrapers
• Safely operate forklifts, cranes, overhead hoists, and associated rigging equipment as required.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and adjustments to welding equipment.
