Job summary

Smith Personnel is hiring skilled welders for a large manufacturing facility in the North Fort Worth area. The role requires reading blueprints, interpreting project requirements, and performing MIG, TIG, and arc welding with flux core expertise.

Candidates should be able to set up and operate welding equipment safely, inspect welds, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Welders will work with 18 gauge stainless steel and aluminum, using wire guns for light gauge galvanized metal,

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.

Cutting and joining metals: Using specialized equipment to weld and assemble new metal forms and repair existing ones.

Using welding techniques: Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.

Flux core with ASME Knowledge

Material to be used: 18 gauge stainless steel and aluminum

Experience with wire gun and light gauge galvanized metal.

Setting up and operating equipment: Ensuring welding equipment is set up and operated safely and efficiently.

Inspecting and testing welds: Ensuring welds meet design requirements, safety standards, and structural reliability.
