Job summary

Contech Engineered Solutions LLC is seeking a Welder for our Alexandria, MN plant to contribute to drainage systems, pipe, bridges and stormwater management.

You will read blueprints, lay out materials, align and weld components, and operate a plasma torch, while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency in MIG and Stick welding.
• Technical training or welding experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret welding procedures.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings and welding procedures for accuracy.
• Lay out material using templates, patterns and measuring tools.
• Align and assemble parts for welding with cranes and hoists.
• Operate cutting or plasma torch to achieve precise layout.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe workplace.

We are looking for a WELDER to join our Alexandria, MN plant. As a Welder with Contech you will contribute to America’s essential infrastructure including drainage systems, pipe, bridges and structures, and stormwater management.

About the Role

Responsibilities:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and welding procedures to ensure accurate welding.
• Uses template, pattern, scribe, etc. to mark and lay out material.
• Aligns and assembles product for welding using crane, lever hoist ,chains, etc.
• Uses cutting or plasma torch to burn to precision layout.
• Adheres to safety protocols to create a secure work environment.

About You

We Require:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in welding techniques, including MIG, and Stick welding.
• Technical training or welding experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work with precision instruments.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
