Job summary

The role emphasizes quality welding, fabrication, and safe operation of lifting equipment in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of Arc/MIG/TIG experience, a welding certification, OSHA know-how, and strong teamwork and customer-service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Welding school certification.
• 1–2 years of Arc, MIG, and TIG welding experience.
• Knowledge of metals and materials.
• Basic carpentry knowledge.
• Ability to set up welds per specifications.
• OSHA safety familiarity.
• Strong customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Layout and apply the appropriate weld type per engineering specifications.
• Inspect, repair and paint rental equipment to ensure readiness and safety.
• Perform non-structural repairs or modifications per manufacturer specs.
• Fabricate projects in the facility as required.
• Complete service work orders and maintain related parts inventory.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Operate overhead cranes, magnets and lifting devices.
• Read drawings to determine welding method and equipment.
• Set up components for welding according to specs.
• Other duties as needed.
