Job summary

Shultz Steel LLC in California seeks a skilled welder/fabricator to lay out, fit, torch cut, and weld fabricated, cast, and forged components into machinery frames, tanks, and vessels. You will assemble structures using SMAW, GMAW, GTAW while following safety rules and quality standards.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, setting up equipment, performing welding, repairing parts, and maintaining shop equipment.

Qualifications

• AA degree in welding or equivalent with 4–6 years of related experience.
• Experience reading drawings and interpreting welding specifications.
• Strong safety knowledge and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, align, and fit components for welding.
• Weld using SMAW, GMAW, GTAW per procedures.
• Assemble parts by bolting and riveting; repair and straighten as needed.
• Maintain and repair welding shop equipment.
