Job summary

Legitimate Forge is looking for a Welder/Fabricator to join our West Palm Beach metal shop. You will cut, fit, and weld steel, aluminum, and brass from drawings, perform MIG and TIG welds, and build gates and railings start to finish.

Requirements include 1–2 years welding experience (MIG required, TIG a plus), ability to read shop drawings, own hand tools, valid driver’s license, and fluency in English. Must lift 50 lbs and endure Florida heat.

We build custom gates, railings, stairs, and one-off metalwork for homes and businesses across South Florida.

What you will do

• Cut, fit, and weld steel, aluminum, and brass from drawings and sketches
• MIG and TIG weld
• Grind, clean, and prep/paint pieces for finish
• Build gates, railings, and custom pieces start to finish
• Help with job site installs when needed

What you need

• 1-2 years of welding experience (MIG required, TIG a plus)
• Ability to read a tape measure and a basic shop drawing
• Your own hand tools
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in Florida heat
• Show up on time, every time
• Be able to speak English fluently
