SAVARD Personnel Group is seeking Pipe Welders for Moss Point, Mississippi, to support marine and shipyard projects. The role emphasizes hands-on welding, with a test to demonstrate proficiency and readiness for overtime opportunities.

Ideal candidates have extensive pipe welding experience in shipyards or heavy industrial settings and must pass a hands-on welding test. Overtime and potential temp-to-perm employment are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on pipe welding experience.
• Experience with Flux-Core (FCAW) welding carbon steel pipe.
• Experience with TIG/GTAW welding stainless steel pipe.
• Experience with GTAW/TIG, SMAW/Stick, and FCAW welding processes.
• Ability to read and interpret isometrics, blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols.
• Understanding of proper joint preparation and pipe fit-up/alignment.
• Ability to clean and prepare weld joints and remove slag/spatter using grinders and chipping hammers.
• Capable of producing precision, quality welds on piping systems.
• Must be able to pass required hands-on pipe welding test.
