Job summary

Trillium Construction is seeking skilled MIG Welders to join our team near Tobyhanna, PA. You will weld steel joists and reinforcement components, read blueprints, and operate MIG welding equipment safely.

The role requires attention to measurements and maintaining quality while meeting daily production goals. Work schedule is Mon-Sat with 60+ hours per week; pay is $33 per hour plus a $100 daily per diem for all seven days if worked.

Qualifications

• Must have MIG welding experience.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on steel joists and reinforcement components according to drawings and work instructions.
• Weld reinforcing bars, plates, angles, and other structural members to steel joists.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and weld symbols.
• Set up and operate MIG welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and alignment of materials.
• Operate grinders and other hand tools to prepare and finish welded components.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and quality procedures.
• Collaborate with supervisors and production team to meet daily goals.
• Report equipment issues or material defects promptly.

Pay

• Pay: $33
• Per Diem: $100 / day for all 7 days unless the required schedule was not worked.
• Schedule: Mon - Sat, 60h+ / week
