Job summary

BroadBean in Kentucky is seeking a skilled welder to assist in producing welded parts and maintaining quality standards. You will perform MIG, hand and robotic welding, and inspect products to ensure conformance with specifications.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, welding experience, and be able to pass a 2G MIG certification test. The role requires reading blueprints, following safety practices, and working in a non-temperature controlled facility with proper PPE.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior welding experience is required.
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug free throughout employment.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints and geometric tolerances.
• Must pass 2G MIG welding certification test.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, hand and robotic welding operations to produce product at required production and quality level.
• Perform inspection on product utilizing total quality concepts.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Accurately report daily activities on work orders and Kan Ban cards and other media as required.

• Exercise safe working habits while operating machines, including proper use of personal protective equipment.

Physical Demands:

• Constant standing, walking, reaching, balancing, cervical spine motion, lower extremities, and simple grasp
• Frequent forward bending, squatting, kneeling, and climbing
• Lifting and carrying up to 50lbs

Environmental Conditions:

• Non-temperature controlled manufacturing facility
• Must wear eye, ear, and foot protection
