Welder MRO (Aerospace/Aviation) 1st Shift Typically 6am to 3pm

Located in Tulsa, OK, TAT-Limco is seeking skilled Welders for our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) operations. Experience with TIG welding stainless steel and aluminum, as well as MIG welding and grinding tools, is required.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret welding blueprints, schematics, and codes
• Operate gas tungsten arc welding equipment
• Measure and align workpieces using appropriate tools
• Perform grinding and thermal cutting to achieve specified textures and sizes
• Set up TIG welding equipment
• Operate power and hand tools including arc welders and buffing machines
• Maintain knowledge of welding characteristics of metals like stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on piping systems and metal structures
• Ensure welding meets specifications and safety standards
• Follow health and safety policies and regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Shift options include the afternoon shift (3pm to 11:30pm, Monday to Friday) with possible weekend shifts. Shift work includes an hourly differential.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience with TIG and/or exotic metals
• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of technical training or apprenticeship
• Knowledge of TIG and MIG welding preferred
• Aerospace/Aviation experience is a plus
• Welding certification preferred
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to pass TAT Limco welding test
• Ability to pass pre-hire and ongoing drug testing (FAA DOT regulated)
• Ability to pass background checks
