Job summary

CDI Custom Curb Adapters is seeking a skilled Welder to join our manufacturing team in Tolleson, AZ. You will perform MIG welding and other specified welding tasks to assemble metal components per engineering blueprints and work orders.

The role requires reading blueprints, using MIG and TIG techniques as needed, and maintaining quality through in-process weld inspections. Certification or the ability to pass an internal test is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in MIG welding in manufacturing or production.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and weld symbols.
• Current or previous welding certification (AWS) preferred or able to pass internal test.
• Strong attention to detail with precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding of metal components and assemblies using MIG welding per blueprints and work orders.
• Perform welding using various techniques (MIG, TIG) as specified by blueprints and orders.
• Prepare materials for welding: grinding, cutting, fitting, positioning for alignment.
• Conduct in-process visual inspection of welds to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and hand tools safely and properly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S and safety protocols.
